Brueck's Bruschetta Burger

Burgers with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes with plenty of garlic, onions, basil and a splash of balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients
For the burgers:
  • 1 pound ground beef (or chicken or turkey or pork)
  • 1/4 cup onion, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons basil, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices (fresh) mozzarella cheese
  • 4 buns (gluten-free for gluten-free)
For the tomatoes:
  • 2 cups tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced/grated
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons basil, thinly sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions
For the burgers:
  1. Mix the beef, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, salt and pepper, and form 4 patties.
  2. Cook the patties by grilling, or pan frying, or broiling, until cooked through, about 3-5 minutes per side.
  3. Place the mozzarella on top and let it melt.
  4. Assemble the burgers in the buns with the tomato mixture and enjoy!
For the tomatoes:
  • Mix everything well and let sit for a few minutes.
  • Option: Brush the buns with garlic oil and grill or grill and rub with garlic!
  • Option: Add your favourite burger/steak seasoning to the burgers.
  • Option: Add extra leaves of basil to the burgers.
  • Option: Drizzle balsamic glaze/reduction over the tomato mixture in the burgers.

Ingredients & Substitutions Vanilla vodka – If you don't have vanilla vodka, whipped cream vodka will work, or you can add a few drops of vanilla extract to your cocktail shaker to make up for that vanilla flavor. 5-Layer Mason Jar Taco Dip

Everyone's favorite dip in mason jar form!  Everything is layered in individual jars so it makes for the easiest serving!  Loaded with taco beef, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and cheese! Ingredients 1 tablespoon olive oil 8 ounces ground beef 1 tablespoon taco seasoning 2 9-ounce cans Fritos Bean Dip, Original Flavor, warmed 1 cup guacamole, homemade or store-bought 1 cup pico de gallo, homemade or store-bought 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 12.5-ounce package TOSTITOS Yellow Corn Bite Size Instructions Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef, and cook until beef has browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks; stir in taco seasoning. Drain excess fat. The best crowd-pleasing chicken bites wrapped in crisp-tender bacon and smothered in a smoky-sweet BBQ sauce! Ingredients 1 2-ounce pouch KC Masterpiece® Original BBQ Sauce Mix & Dry Rub ¾ cup pineapple juice 1 tablespoon Sriracha 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes 8 slices bacon, cut into thirds ¼ cup brown sugar, packed 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives Instructions Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat; set aside.
